Summary
  • A 22 year old man, Jake Vickers, starts his first day as a police man in Brighton. This episode follows through investigation on a race attack but meets hostility from a chief witness, an indian shop-keeper.
  • Novice cop, Jake Vickers, has a tough first day on the job with a suicidal mental patient and a shoplifter. But as the son of the Chief Superintendent his hardest task is to earn the respect of his colleagues.
